Terms Of Sale
House Operating System (HOS) is an online service (“House Operating System (HOS) Service”) provided through House Operating System (HOS) Software that, amongst other free services made available as part of the House Operating System (HOS) Service provides Customers with access to purchase Digital Content.
Sales To Customers Only; Restrictions On Use
The House Operating System (HOS) Service sells licenses to literary works (“Digital Content”) to end user customers that have created a House Operating System (HOS) account (“you” or “Customer”) only. All Digital Content on the House Operating System (HOS) Service is the exclusive property of the publisher or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The download of, and access to Digital Content is available only to Customers and is intended only for your personal and non-commercial use. Any other use of Digital Content downloaded or accessed from the House Operating System (HOS) Service is strictly prohibited. You may not modify, transmit, publish, participate in the transfer or sale of, reproduce, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, display, or in any way exploit, any of the content of any Digital Content, in whole or in part. By downloading or otherwise accessing Digital Content from the House Operating System (HOS) Service, you hereby acknowledge and agree to these terms.
All Sales Are Final Policy - Cancellation, Return And Refund
Except as set out in this agreement, all sales are final. If you are a resident of the European Union, you have the right to cancel the contract for a purchase of Non Digital Contents from House Operating System (HOS) and return the content for a refund within a period of 14 days beginning with the day after purchase. Once you have received your refund, you will no longer have the right to access the Content. Please note that once you access or download any Digital Content that you purchase, you no longer have the right to cancel your purchase of that Digital Content. All Non Digital Contents refunds are processed into original payment method. Refund process might take 5-7 business days upon package arrival to our return department and reflect on the bank statement.
Shipping and handling fee are not refundable. Products such as but not limited to below list are considering as FINAL SALES and will not eligible for return/exchange.
Clearance products are considered as final sales and are not eligible for return/exchange.
Exchange Policy
An exchange is only eligible for Non Digital Content merchandise. Merchandise can only be exchanged into different color/size with the same price in the same style. If an exchange is not eligible, a refund will be processed instead.
Online purchase cannot be return/exchange in physical stores. Package must be sent to the return department for the refund. Customer needs to send the return merchandise by insured, traceable mail offered by FedEx, USPS, and other carriers. Please include a note with your address and daytime phone number along with your instructions and a copy of this invoice.

House Operating System (HOS) reserves the right to deny any return/exchange based on the condition of the merchandise and the right to modify its exchange and return policy.
Payment Methods - Payment and Taxes
(a) Payment is done thru a trusty third party service (Apple store), Notwithstanding all of our efforts, no security controls are 100% effective and House Operating System (HOS) cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our trusty payment third party service security measures, or use your personal financial/social information for improper purposes. In no event does House Operating System (HOS) will be responsible for such losses.
(b) Taxes. The amounts payable by you to House Operating System (HOS) hereunder are exclusive of any applicable sales, use, value added, excise or similar taxes that may apply to the transactions contemplated hereunder. Any such taxes shall be your responsibility and you agree to pay to House Operating System (HOS) any such taxes that House Operating System (HOS) is required to collect under applicable law.
(c) The House Operating System (HOS) Service accepts credit cards. When a credit card is being used for a purchase, House Operating System (HOS) may obtain a pre-approval from the credit card company for an amount up to the amount of the order. Except as otherwise set out herein, billing to your credit card occurs at the time of purchase, or shortly thereafter. The House Operating System (HOS) Service accepts the following payment cards: Visa and MasterCard. Please note that credit cards have daily spending limits that may prevent the processing of your order. If a transaction has been declined due to credit issues, please ensure all data is correct and resubmit your purchase. If the transaction is not accepted online, you will be unable to use that card for your transaction and should use another payment card.
Billing
If you are purchasing multiple items on the House Operating System (HOS) Service, your order may be authorized and billed in gradual increments during one purchasing session as you click the “Buy Now” button. This may appear as multiple orders and billings on your payment card statement.
Membership Subscription
ALL House Operating System (HOS) MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTIONS WILL, UNLESS WE RECEIVE NOTICE FROM YOU TO THE CONTRARY, RENEW AUTOMATICALLY AT THEIR EXPIRY FOR A ONE YEAR TERM AT THEN CURRENT RATES. If at any point, you do not wish to have your subscription automatically renewed, you may cancel it without penalty before the end of the subscription term. You will be notified 30 days in advance of any impending subscription renewals. By purchasing a House Operating System (HOS) Membership subscription, you agree to comply with the House Operating System (HOS) Terms and Conditions which may be amended from time to time, a copy of which can be found here:www.houseoperatingsystem.com .
Free Trial
If you purchase a House Operating System (HOS) Digital Content that includes a free trial, you will receive free access to the content for the duration of the free trial period. At the end of your free trial period, House Operating System (HOS) will charge or debit the payment method provided at the time of your order, and you will be billed per the cycle stated at the time of your order. QUEBEC RESIDENTS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR FREE TRIALS. If you do not want to keep the subscription following the free trial and do not want to incur any charges, to avoid having your payment method charged you must cancel the subscription prior to the end of your trial period.
Upgrades
The latest version of the House Operating System (HOS) software is recommended to access the House Operating System (HOS) Service. From time to time, an upgrade to the latest version of the House Operating System (HOS) software may be required in order to make transactions from the House Operating System (HOS) Service. Use of House Operating System (HOS) software is subject to acceptance of its software license agreement presented at the time of installation. House Operating System (HOS) reserves the right to enhance Digital Content purchased from the House Operating System (HOS) Service. Among other things, such enhancements may result in larger file sizes (requiring, for example, longer download times and additional disk space for storage).
Prices
The House Operating System (HOS) Service endeavors to offer you competitive prices on current selections. Your total price will include the price of the Digital Content. For Canadian customers only the price will also include additional applicable sales taxes, including GST/HST, QST and/or provincial retail sales tax (in effect on the day of purchase). For EU customers only, prices are inclusive of VAT when applicable. House Operating System (HOS) reserves the right to change prices for Products offered at the House Operating System (HOS) Service at any time, and does not provide price protection or refunds in the event of a price drop or promotional offering.
Content Sustainability And Access Restrictions
The House Operating System (HOS) Service provides several digital contents and materials, some have certain lifespan which the material are valid to the customers who bought it for a limited time only before we are forced to delete, replace or renew it (limited time usage only). Also for all contents and materials provided by House Operating System (HOS) we restrict multi-usage, group-usage or family-usage, our contents are a Single User Consumption, House Operating System (HOS) does not allow sharing access for its materials other than for the user(s) who purchase this materials or contents.
Content Availability
The House Operating System (HOS) Service makes every effort to provide a broad content offering. For this reason, House Operating System (HOS) reserves the right to change content options without notice. On occasion, Digital Content may become unavailable following a transaction but prior to download. Your sole remedy in such cases is a refund of the price paid for the unavailable Digital Content. Your use of any Digital Content purchased from the House Operating System (HOS) Service is conditioned upon your prior acceptance of the Terms of Use, including, without limitation the digital content usage rules set forth therein, which may be updated from time to time without notice to you. Customers are encouraged to review the Terms of Use on a periodic basis for modifications.
Other Terms And Conditions
House Operating System (HOS) reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of sale at the House Operating System (HOS) Service at any time. Revised Terms of Sale will be made available on our website. Customers are encouraged to review the Terms of Sale on a periodic basis for modifications. All sales on the House Operating System (HOS) Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein without regard to conflict of laws rules. If any of the terms in these Terms of Sale are not valid or legally enforceable, the other terms will not be affected.
